Doesn’t mean this won’t stroll home with Single Of The Week, though.

Apparently, ‘tastemakers’ love this band. No! Wait! Come back! Since I’m patently not in that group either, maybe ‘people with ears attached to a functioning brain’ like this band will make more sense. The album is a clattering joy, a raucously youthful romp with surprising strength in depth and these are, simply, two of the best tracks on it.

The opening riff, the glorious melodies, the imagination in the lyrics, Adam’s frankly terrifying volume… it’s basically pretty hard to imagine any week when this wouldn’t be the single of it.
